Job Overview
With an established management team in place, Nizari is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist.
Function
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The Senior HR Generalist will directly report to the Director of Human Resources in delivering people-related programs and initiatives to support the business plan and organizational development. The successful candidate will be able to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This position requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Support the process of recruitment, shortlist candidates, and schedule job interviews.
- Organize HR orientation, training programs, workshops, and seminars.
- Administration of payroll process including time and attendance.
- Entering employee data into HRIS database.
- Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents
- Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications.
- Coordinate trade shows, events, and training sessions.
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution of their queries.
- Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Helping with performance appraisals and corrective actions and ensuring that employees are well informed of human resource policies and programs.
- Assists in updating job descriptions in coordination with department heads.
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in Business, Human Resources, or Organizational Development.
- PHR Certification, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Two (2) plus years of experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Management
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and administrative skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Display a passion for people, processes, and procedures to help as an employer of choice.
- Hands-on experience with ADP or other HRIS software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
